Hello all the merry Christmas people.

Lots of you already know the story: I joined Second Tree in summer 2024 and planned on only staying 3 months. Over a year later and I’m still here working with these radically honest weirdos to make a Second Tree shaped mark on the world. 

At Second Tree, we challenge stereotypes and work to change narratives around refugees. We envision a world where refugees are treated as capable, reasonable and unique individuals. Where they are recognised as agents of their own change. As complex, surprising and multi-faceted people who are not defined by their circumstance or experiences. We envision a world where refugees are treated, in short, as people, just like everyone else. 

To this end, this Christmas, we’re aiming to raise €20,000.  This money will be used to support the people living in refugee camps in Greece and to further spread the message that Refugees Are People across Europe.
