Dear friends,
As many of you know, for the past three years I’ve been working in Greece with Second Tree, teaching English to refugees. These years have been some of the most challenging and meaningful of my life. I’ve had the privilege of watching young people find confidence and community through Second Tree’s programme.
Now, as I prepare to wrap up my time with Second Tree, I’m feeling the weight of how important it is that this work continues. The classes, the trips outside of camp for the day, the award ceremonies and the chances for kids to just be kids don’t just happen – they continue because people choose to care.
Second Tree is a small organisation with a huge impact, and it relies heavily on individual support to keep the Youth Programme running. As I transition out of my role, one of the most meaningful ways you could support me – and the young people I’ve been working with – is by helping ensure that these programmes remain strong for the next group of students who walk through the door.
If you’re able, please consider making a donation to Second Tree.
No matter the amount, your contribution makes a real difference.
Thank you, truly, for standing with me, and for standing with the young people who deserve every chance at a stable and hopeful future.
