Hi! I’m Sarya, and I’m running to support refugees — and I’d love for you to join me.
My sister Lou works at an NGO called Second Tree, based in Northern Greece, where they work directly with refugee communities, providing education and integration.

To mark World Refugee Day (June 20), I’m teaming up with Second Tree to host a global, grassroots solidarity run. It’s not a marathon. It’s a movement.
Between June 20–22, I’ll be running and live-streaming as I share stories, facts, and moments that matter — to remind us that behind the headlines are real lives, real hopes, and real futures at stake.

Run with me. Anywhere. Any distance.

Do it on your terms — solo, with friends, in your city, or at the gym. But do it with intention. one: 2.5K, 5K, 7.5K, or 10K. Then…

• Document your run (photos, stories, livestreams — whatever feels right).
• Share it on your social media with why you’re running (along with the following hashtags: )
• Encourage your followers to donate to support Second Tree’s work by linking this page.

OR invite them to run too — the more feet on the ground, the louder our impact.

🌍 Why This Matters 🌍

Right now, roughly 120 million people have been forcibly displaced worldwide — that’s 1 in every 67 people on the planet.
But too often, refugees are spoken about in numbers, not as neighbors.

Through this run, we’re saying: We see you. We stand with you.
We’re raising money for programs that empower refugees to rebuild, reconnect, and reclaim their futures — with access to education, psychosocial support, and community.
